This is an exciting opportunity for a person experienced in the world of politics and the Scriptures to support parliamentarians in their advocacy of the Bible in Parliament.
Employed by Bible Society, and supporting the all-party Christian group in Parliament (http://www.christiansinparliament.org.uk/), you will work with MPs, Peers, officials and staff to increase confidence in the Scriptures, not least as a source and reference for political thinking.
Working in the Palace of Westminster, you will be able to work independently and be a natural communicator and networker. Your previous experience, combined with the ability to make connections between the Scriptures and politics, will help you increase the circulation and use of the Bible in Parliament. You will be able to think imaginatively, organise events and other initiatives and provide high level briefings for use in Parliamentary debates.
With a good degree or equivalent, possibly in Theology or Politics, you will have excellent knowledge and experience of parliament and politics in the UK.
