SIXTY per cent of British adults believe in miracles, according to a survey, while a further 15 per cent said they were unsure.
Only one in four of the 1,500 people questioned refuted miracles completely.
The poll, on behalf of Premier Christian Radio, said more than half knew someone who believed they had witnessed a miracle.
The station’s Peter Kerridge said that “in a cynical world” the results of the survey were “encouraging”.
