“Theos always gives an interesting alternative view to the complex and critical issues leaders face. It’s the place to go for a new angle or different perspective. Its research capacity is impressive, enhanced by a deep vein of moral clarity underpinning all its work.”

Lord Hastings of Scarisbrick CBE

Public Square

Christianity is a public religion, as engaged with issues of debt and environmental ethics as it is with prayer and 'personal' morality.

Public Square comprises a collection of articles , reviews and interviews from the Theos team, explorng issues of public theology.

Written over a number of years and for a variety of publications, they explore a wide range of issues - from human rights and the surveillance society, to public art and obesity.

None of them consitutues an official Theos 'line' on any topic. Instead, they are intended to inform and provoke, and are offered in the same spirit of open discussion that underlines all Theos work.

We hope you find them interesting.
