The Theos/ CAFOD/ Tearfund Wholly Living project drew on five briefing papers, exploring the different aspects and implications of a Christian understanding of human flourishing.

The fifth of these was by Ian Christie and outlines the main questions of ecological sustainability in relation to human flourishing, offering a summary of major risks to flourisihing from environmental damange, outlining a Christian model of flourishing and linking this to considerations of ecological integrity.
