As the inquiry into the Grenfell Tower fire continued this week, a new report has praised the work of churches and faith groups as the fire spread.

Although there was ‘chaos’ on the night of 14 June 2017, a new report from Christian think tank Theos said that churches, mosques, synagogues and gurdwaras all stepped in.

At least 15 separate centres run by faith communities responded.
