Robots would make terrible gods.

Elizabeth Oldfield responds to the idea that humans might start worshipping artificial intelligence in the near future, following the ‘singularity’ – the moment when artificial intelligence becomes self–conscious. She proposes that we take a second look at the so–called ‘old religions.’
